About the event
For nearly four decades, the Erasmus+ programme has offered students the opportunity to embark on a learning mobility abroad by providing grants to alleviate the costs that students would otherwise incur during their experience. Inclusion and accessibility have been one of the most discussed programme priorities, yet research from 2022 shows that for 60% of participants, the Erasmus+ grant covered less than 50% of the actual living costs for their mobility abroad, which disproportionately affects students from lower socio-economic backgrounds. With a new programme cycle approaching, this session will look at how the Erasmus+ grants could adapt to better support the students during their mobility, and open opportunities for more students, making Erasmus+ an opportunity for all.
