About the event

The DETAS (Digitalising Erasmus Traineeship Application & Support) project is a collaborative initiative co-funded by the European Commission and coordinated by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). Launched in January 2024, the DETAS partnership has been working to improve the Erasmus+ trainee experience. By enhancing the erasmusintern.org portal, developing robust policy frameworks, and conducting capacity-building and outreach activities, DETAS is bridging the gap between academic and professional lives for young Europeans. This project aligns with the European Strategy for Universities and the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), prioritising increased Erasmus+ traineeship participation and supporting digital transformation in education.


The final conference, to take place on December 4 in Brussels aims to showcase the work of the partnership on 3 main dimensions: supporting students to bridge the gap between their academic and professional lives, supporting employers and higher education institutions to raise awareness on traineeships and provide quality opportunities for Erasmus+ students;…
