About the event
This workshop will highlight the role of VET providers in connecting learners, employers and public authorities, while identifying practical solutions to make all competences visible and valuable. It will also focus on how digital innovation can play a role in the validation and recognition of vocational, adult and non-formal learning.
The workshop will kickstart with a policy dialogue around VET and digitalisation, addressing the main challenges that vocational education is still experiencing in the validation and recognition of competences, as well as the main opportunities for digitalisation to support such processes. The workshop will also introduce participants to the European Commission initiative of the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH). It will conclude with a hands-on activity for participants to create specific roadmaps for their own educational and training context to advance validation and recognition of skills and competences.
