The Réseau International des Cités des Métiers (RICDM)  – Cités des métiers International Network specialised in lifelong learning, includes 33 similar platforms for guidance and counselling covering 9 countries (France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Togo and Canada) in 3 continents. The labelled concept of Cité des métiers was born in the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie of Paris in 1993. The main particularities of a Cité des métiers are: the right of anonymous use, decompartmentalised approach of the Counselling and a multi-partnership approach based on the interaction between counselling and resources. Local authorities, as well as organisations working in information, guidance and job placement, are the main partners of the Cités des metiers. Read the informative leaflet.

Cités des Métiers International Network gathers 27 Cités des métiers in 6 differents countries in Europe. Cités des métiers are places managed in partnership by different stakeholder organisations, open to anyone in search of information to build his/her professional future. Its mission is to direct users to all the resources allowing them to formulate and achieve their career aims and to guide and support them in their choices in a single place.
