The Lifelong Learning Platform publishes its Working Paper on AI, to bring together the perspectives of all impacted by it in education and training since stakeholders must be co-creation partners on AI, rather than clients using a tool.

This publication was updated in February 2026 to reflect the new strategies and initiatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission after over one year in office. This will consider the forward-looking discussions for preparing the 2028-2034 financial cycle as well as future initiatives of the 2024-2029 Commission. The first edition was published in 2015.

In this position paper, the Lifelong Learning Platform (LLLP) investigates the challenges and diversity of the educator profession.

The 4th edition of the LLLAB took place in Brussels around LLLP's Annual Theme "21st century challenges for the educator profession; a call for a system change" in partnership with Visit Brussels and the European Parliament.

The 14th edition took place on 18-22 November 2024 and held the overarching theme of “21st century challenges for the educator profession: a call for system change” In 2024, LLLPlatform is dedicating its advocacy efforts on the educators considering how since 2019, their situation, in fact, worsened.

Every seven years the Lifelong Learning Platform publishes a Feasibility Study on National Lifelong Learning Platforms. This has been first launched in 2011, followed up by a second edition in 2018, and a third one in 2025.
